Since 1954 the Woman's Board has been instrumental in encouraging young women and men to seek a career in Nursing by offering Scholarships to eligible students. Each year the Board gives three $3,000 Scholarships. The recipients are chosen by the Nursing Committee in collaboration with the Director of Nursing at Norwalk Community College.

Applications for the Scholarships can be obtained at the College in the summer preceding the Fall Semester or on our Web Site (See Link Below). All information regarding submission of completed applications are included on the form.

In addition to the Nursing Scholarships, the Woman's Board also grants $1,000 Scholarships to two students in the Respiratory Care class at the Hospital. These are given to second year students who have been chosen by the Program Director.
